A big thank you to Windward High School Students

A big thank you to Windward High School Students and teacher Jeremy Birklid for coming to the garden yesterday despite the wet conditions to work in the garden. The students moved many wheelbarrows of compost, marked off the corn patch, constructed pumpkin/squash hills, did some planting and really enjoyed chopping up materials for the compost bin. They toured the garden and identified vegetables growing in your beds as part of a class assignment. Also at the garden to help was Tami Solari and Adelle Zimmerman. We found it a joy to work with such a fun and hard working group of kids.
